AbstractAn activated carbon cloth/polymer-iodine (ACC/PVP-I-2) composite was prepared by the Betadine method and employed as a high-performance cathode for rechargeable Li/I-2 batteries. Due to the synergistic effect of ACC and PVP-I-2, Li/I-2 cells with ACC/PVP-I-2 as the cathode exhibited superior electrochemical performance.
